Happy Pajama Day!

I'm not sure if it was the pajamas or what, but the students had a challenging time of listening and following directions today (not only in our classroom, but in art class as well). We'll try harder tomorrow!

During large group, we talked about how friends help us and how we have helped our friends. Mrs. Abbey read The Turtle and the Sheep, a story about 2 friends who helped each other in different ways.

In science, we reviewed what we have learned about spiders, and shared some more spider books the students had brought. We will finish up talking and reading about spiders tomorrow. We are also planning to go outside to investigate the fall changes of trees tomorrow morning. Please send a sweatshirt or coat with your child, so that they are not cold. Thanks!

Thank you to Ella's mom for helping us with a math activity today!

Tomorrow is School Pride Day...try to wear something with our school colors--purple and yellow!

We are still collecting plastic bags for one more week! Continue to send yours in. As of today, our school is in 2nd place in the competition!
