The students did a very good job of listening and talking when it was their turn to talk!

This week we are talking and reading books about animals that live in the ocean. If your child has any ocean books, stuffed animals, plastic animals, etc. that they would like to bring in to share with the class, we would love to see them! Mrs. Abbey read Fish Faces, a nonfiction book about different types of fish. The students talked in pairs about animals that live in the ocean and how some fish are different than others.

In music class, the students worked on preparing for their music concert. They are excited (and a little nervous) to perform for you!

In science, we continued our work in our paper unit. Today, the students investigated which papers were easy to fold and which papers were difficult to fold. They recorded their results in their paper journal.
