Wow! What a fun day Field Day was! Here are some pictures taken that day! The rest of the photos will be available on our Shutterfly share site next week! You will have access to the Shutterfly share site until the end of July, in case you would like to download or order pictures.
The students were busy creating today! On the announcements, they heard that it was Mrs. Adair's birthday, so of course they wanted to make cards and bookmarks for her! We delivered them during our library time, and Mrs. Adair loved them!
Thank you to Blake's sister, Allie, for coming to read to the class during his Star Week!
We finished up our unit on worms, making a worm book today. If your child finished, they are bringing their book home today.
The students wrote a list of the things they wanted to do this summer. It was challenging for some of the students to think of 6 things they wanted to do, but listening to the ideas of their peers helped.
As we wind down the school year, here are a few bits of information for you:
•Please have your child return their library book on Monday if they still have one checked out.
•Please return your child's book bag. There will not be another another bag of books going home this year, as we need to inventory them and take them to the library.
•The final report card and your child's portfolio will go home on the last day of school. There are no conferences at the end of the year. If you have questions, feel free to email or call me during the first week of June.
•If anyone has any moving boxes they are willing to part with, the half-day class is being moved to Timber Ridge Elementary and I could really use the boxes to pack up our stuff! Thank you!
