Thank you to Blake's brother for coming in and reading a book to the class in celebration of Blake's Star Week!
The students worked hard at literacy stations while Mrs. Abbey worked individually assessing students. I am very pleased with all of the progress the students have been showing!
Today, the students completed two class assessments: a math problem and lowercase letter writing. They worked very hard!
Mrs. Abbey read The Blind Men and the Elephant, a folk tale from India.
The kids are looking forward to Field Day tomorrow!
Please remember to:
(1) apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school
(2) send water in a water bottle (marked with their name)
(3) send a lunch (unless they ordered a school lunch)
(4) have your child wear their green frog kindergarten t-shirt
(5) have your child wear tennis shoes so they can easily run during games!
In the case of bad weather, a decision will be made by 7:30am tomorrow morning if field day must be postponed. If we will not be going to Field Day tomorrow, an alert-now call will go out to all families Thursday morning letting you know of the change.
