Today we reviewed the book, Warthogs Paint. The students did a wonderful job remembering about primary and secondary colors, and many of them understand what colors you mix together to make green, orange, and purple. Way to go!
Thank you to Kaylee I., our Star of the Week, for bringing in "Lamby" to share with the class!
In PE, the students played 3-ball soccer.
In handwriting, we practiced writing the uppercase and lowercase "W/w." We are almost finished learning the correct way to form our letters. I will send a few review sheets home with the students over the summer so that they can practice before next fall!
More of our plants are sprouting! The cucumbers are being especially slow at coming up, but they should be growing soon.
The students did another math assessment, this time a story problem featuring addition up to 10. They are all doing very well with addition!
Thank you to Erin's mom for coming to help the class with a word writing activity!
The May reading log went home today. Sorry it is a few days late! Have your child bring this back by the last day of school for a prize! If you still have the April reading log at home, please send that back this week, so your child can turn it in for a prize.
Reading book bags are due tomorrow. Please return them for new books if your child has practiced reading them.
